That is Mrs. Wesley's definition of sin to her son John Wesley.

Hmm, I'm not sure I agree with it, either. It's rather flawed, since her definition technically includes sleeping. Plus, sin hurts others, too. The definition appears to neglect that. Of course, this is probably just me being a perfectionist.
