Quotes w/Mom

Mom: "Stephan, do you want some salad?"
Me: "Salad? What in the world are you talking about?!"
Me: @Dad: "I think mom's got the food pyramid all messed up."
Dad: "Yeah?"
Me: "Meat is on top, followed by sugar and salt. After that, meat, meat, meat, styrofoam, and finally 'vegetables, as few a possible'"
Mom: "Well you know in the Bible Daniel ate vegetables.."
Me: "AND LOOK where it got him! He was thrown into the lion's den!"
Mom: "He didn't get eaten though"
Me: "OF COURSE NOT, all he had been eating was vegetables!"

Hehehe, you said "Den"

?

What's wrong with "den"?
Or vegetables, for that matter. I happen to know for a fact that eating a lot of spinnach gives you huge, unwieldly forearms supported by skinny upper arms.

Oh, That would be attractive.

I'm nobody really. I doubt you would remember me even if I did tell you my name.

BTW, have you ever read "When God Writes Your Love Story" by Eric and Leslie Ludy. It is a great book! I like it better than "I Kissed Dating Goodbye"

2live4him: Okay now I know I know you. That was a subtle hint as to who you are. I remember talking to someone about that book sometime ago. They said exactly what you just said.. I just can't remember who I was talking to about that. *sad face*

hahaha

I'm sure you will figure it out... eventually. And, although that last comment was a clue, I also wanted to know if you have read the book.

Hey Stephan,

I just wanted to say I really like your blog. Some of the posts are just fun and funny and some of them are really deep and filled with wisdom.

I love reading your posts. I'll try and start commenting if I have time.

Hey, and you have my blog linked to this one! That means a lot, thanks.

Hope you're doing well.

Actually, there is a biblical and nutritional basis for making fresh and raw fruits and vegetables the larger part of your diet.

Originally, God gave Adam and Eve the fruit of every tree growing in the Garden of Eden for food. Meat did not enter the dietary plan until after sin entered the world. This, along with other commandments to the Jews about what sorts of food to eat, were aimed at giving humans the most nutritional diet possible and, after the fall, to protect them from diseases that con be transmitted through animals.

Fresh and raw fruits and vegetables are enriched with living enzymes that are necessary for the body to function at peak efficiency. Once cooked, these enzymes die, negating much of the benefit. Even when cooked, fruits and vegetables still have many essential vitamins that enable the body to absorb and use energy efficiently, as well as fight off infections and sickness.

Daniel and his friends were indeed found healthier than the other young men due to their diet of nothing but vegetables and water, which shows that God's original plans for human food still have a very beneficial effect.

Clearly "anonymous" lacks the humor of my quotes. That knowledge was already known. It was a joke. Thanx for you Biblically read insight though. ;)
2live4him: I have 3 ideas, but I really don't know. You wouldn't be able to release any hints would you?
